Small Business Managers required by Metro Bank

First and foremost you must have a proven and successful track record in a local business or commercial / corporate banking, business development or support  role.

You must also demonstrate a good level of knowledge, proficiency and compliance with banking products

Excellent communication, client development and relationship management skills and strong customer service ethos is essential and you must be confident and capable when in face to face customer contact situations.

The role will involve:

• Supporting Commercial Banking Director (s) to deliver the Metro Bank brand and business model in the local area for Commercial Banking
• Fully supports the Commercial Banking Directors in the creation of a portfolio of Commercial Banking Customers through promoting, reinforcing and delivering Metro Bank including Amazing Customer service (our Customer Philosophy) and the set up of start up business accounts
• Acts as the first point of contact for all business/commercial customers’ enquiries and provides general account maintenance services
• Practices and reinforces correct Metro Bank Operational Processes ensuring we get things right for the customer first time.
• Deals with all documentation and administrative duties relating to customer accounts, account opening, loans etc.
• Carries out work on ad-hoc projects, as required e.g. territory mapping
• Models service excellence with resolving challenging service situations.
